Vino 100 Assignes new manager

CHARLOTTE, NC, MAY 15, 2008:  Vino 100 Uptown is celebrating our new approach to wine sales. Behind the change is new General Manager, Chef Michael Esakov. “A wine shop is a restaurant where I don’t have to cook the product, but service and taste is still the most important thing.” Says Michael. After 15 years in the east coast’s kitchens, from Cleveland, OH, to The Marriott at The Sawgrass Resort in Florida Michael had developed his palate, and nurtured a love of the hospitality industry. He actually started at the age of three behind his Grandfather’s bar (Brooklands Café, Akron OH) pulling beer, so Michael has been in the Business for over 30 years. His philosophy on food and wine is simple; Food and Wine are here to make you happy. Eat what you want and drink what you want, and never let any one tell you what you should want. It’s not our job to tell you what to drink, but to try and understand what will please your palate.
